Learning and Development
Our own in-house Learning and Development team offer a variety of training and management courses including management development and personal development at all levels. Every employee follows a robust induction process which highlights our company history, our current vision for the business and the Exertis brand values.
We also provide routine system training and product training; we see training and development as an important step towards becoming the number one distributor in the UK.
Sales and Management Training
As our sales teams are the heart of our business, we offer constant sales-led support and training programmes for our sales staff to ensure they are always ahead of the curve. With one of the largest sales forces in the UK, we are committed to the development of our sales team with constant support and training endorsed by the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management.
We also have our very own internal trainee management scheme, UPGRADE, which was recognised on a national level at the Learning Awards 2015. The aim of the UPGRADE programme is to develop the skills and behaviours of employees across the business and to improve the opportunity for progression, and promotion. The majority of staff who complete our UPGRADE scheme eventually progress to other positions or are promoted within Exertis.
Support for Professional Qualifications
We also support employees by helping them to complete recognised professional qualifications where there is a direct benefit to their role - if staff feel they could benefit from additional training or a new qualification to excel in their career with Exertis, then we are more than happy to support this.
